This time is the third publishing which the writer obtained, in addition, more details and various information, which is very beneficial, from expert in this circle, as well as criticism from readers. Moreover, the writer had added more substance both in the history and events of Thai Banknotes, from past to present, expressed various evolutions of Banknotes, general knowledge which will be of much beneficial for collectors and interested people, as well as pictures of Banknotes which are very clear and sharp ever since available.

The writer tried to search important data which collectors and interested people still did not know, to be included in this book, as well as, method to look for marking on various Type of Banknotes, such as Free Thai Banknotes, Thanabat Thai Theeb, or Banknotes with an asterisk, etc., which the writer believed that it should be of much interest to Thai Banknotes collectors. For the estimate pricing within this book, the writer tried to provide information approximately closed to market price as much as possible, but could not indicated whether or not it is correct or suitable depending on the nature of the notes, market demand and negotiation between seller and buyer which should be more correct and suitable.

Since I have rearranged the sequence of the stamp by the issued date, the reader would understand clearly about the background of those stamps in term of the objective and the necessity of issue. For the new collectors or anyone who is interested, I have separated the collectables into categories for ease of search. Refer to the data and information, I have gathered from many trusted sources such as Thailand Post Co.,Ltd, Post & Talagraph Department, Philatelic Magazine, Philatelists Association of Thailand Journall and Chronicles of Thai Postage Stamps By Pipat Choovoravech, M.D., FRPSL etc. Therefore the Thai Stamp Catalogue should have the most trusted and completed information that has ever been published.

For the price of this book, I have estimated from the market price in normal situation. However the actual price may not be the same due to many factors such as the stamp’s condition, demand and supply, speculating price, economy and trustworthiness of the stamp-related organization etc.
